Oranjestad — Queen Beatrix International Airport advises that airport operations are expected to resume normally tomorrow, Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Today, out of 58 scheduled inbound and outbound flights, a total of 44 flights were cancelled, including 38 U.S. flights and 7 non–U.S. flights. Aruba Airport is working in close coordination with airline partners and airport authorities to safely and efficiently accommodate affected passengers.

As a result, the airport expects a busier-than-usual operational day tomorrow, as today was originally anticipated to be a high-volume travel day (“Super Saturday”), with 58 flights and approximately 15,000 passengers scheduled to be processed.

Passengers with confirmed flights are advised to arrive at the airport on time for their scheduled departure. Passenger flow control measures will remain in effect to support safe, secure, and orderly operations.

Passengers whose flights were cancelled today, as well as travelers without a confirmed flight, are strongly advised not to come to the airport and to contact their airline directly for rebooking and updated travel arrangements.

Aruba Airport will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as appropriate. Passengers are encouraged to check directly with their airline and visit www.airportaruba.com for the most up-to-date flight information.

Aruba Airport would like to thank all airport partners in advance for their continued cooperation and support as operations work toward a safe and orderly return to normal tomorrow.
