Today, Queen Beatrix International Airport managed an exceptional operational day, successfully accommodating nearly 17,000 passengers—well above the usual daily average of approximately 10,000—to support travelers affected by recent flight disruptions.
This achievement was made possible through the extraordinary dedication and coordination of our airport staff, volunteers, airline partners, and authorities, who worked tirelessly to ensure safe, orderly, and efficient operations under intense pressure.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our passengers for their patience, cooperation, and understanding throughout this busy period.
Airport operations are scheduled to conclude at 2:00 AM, marking the end of a long but highly effective operational effort.
Reminder for U.S.-Bound Passengers
Passengers traveling to the United States are reminded to arrive at the airport on time to allow sufficient processing by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) prior to departure.
Passengers who do not yet have a confirmed return flight are kindly requested to contact their airline directly for rebooking arrangements.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to today’s successful operation. Your commitment and teamwork made the difference.
