Self-Care and Confidence: Celebrating Women Through Wellness on International Women’s Day

Oranjestad, Aruba — International Women’s Day, celebrated worldwide on March 8, is a moment to recognize the strength, achievements, and contributions of women. But beyond celebration, it is also a reminder of something equally important: the value of self-care and personal well-being.

In today’s fast-paced world, many women spend their time caring for others, their families, careers, and communities, often leaving little room to care for themselves. Yet health experts increasingly emphasize that taking time for personal care and wellness plays a significant role in confidence, self-esteem, and overall mental well-being.

The Importance of Self-Care

Self-care is not simply about appearance. It is about how women feel about themselves. When women invest in their well-being, whether through health, skincare, or personal rejuvenation, it often leads to improved confidence, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of self-worth.

Medical aesthetic treatments, when performed responsibly and by qualified professionals, can be one of many ways women choose to maintain their appearance and feel confident in their own skin.

According to specialists in aesthetic medicine, treatments such as Botox or collagen-stimulating therapies can help soften signs of stress and aging, allowing women to feel refreshed and comfortable with their natural beauty.

A Special Recognition for Women

In recognition of International Women’s Day, Eterna Aesthetics by Dr. Mila Ponson is offering a special promotion dedicated to celebrating women and encouraging self-care.

From March 8 through March 20, women who visit the clinic for a Botox or Sculptra treatment will receive a complimentary Facial Hydration Mask Treatment during their appointment.

The hydration mask is designed to soothe, refresh, and deeply nourish the skin, providing an added boost of hydration and glow that complements aesthetic treatments.

The promotion highlights three key ideas that many women relate to:

  • Glow
  • Hydrate
  • Celebrate yourself

Limited Appointments Available

Because treatments are performed personally by Dr. Mila Ponson, appointments are limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dr. Ponson, a physician specializing in aesthetic medicine, emphasizes that the goal of aesthetic treatments is not to change who someone is, but to help individuals feel comfortable, confident, and radiant.

“Women deserve to feel confident and celebrated not just on one day, but every day,” she says.
