A new partnership with Jefferson Health, Ambulnz and PHL means passengers can get pre-flight COVID-19 tests at the airport beginning December 4.

Having a negative COVID-19 test administered 72 hours prior to take-off is a now requirement for many destinations. Learn more: phl.org/at-phl/services-and-amenities/covid-19-testing.

The Jefferson Health COVID-19 Testing Clinic at Philadelphia International Airport, powered by Rapid Reliable Testing, is located in the pre-security area of PHL Terminal E (to the left of the Terminal E security checkpoint).

The COVID-19 testing program is designed for asymptomatic passengers flying out of PHL, with multiple testing options, including an antigen test, a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, and a Rapid PCR test planned in the future.

Test results will be texted to passengers the same day for antigen and Rapid PCR tests, and within 24 hours for the standard PCR test. Parking in the Terminal E Short-Term Parking Garage will be complimentary for up to 2 hours for testing patrons (patrons must show documentation from testing facility for parking fee to be waived).

Welcome back to PHL!

The City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have announced new COVID-19 guidance. Here’s what you need to know about how this will impact PHL:

PHL will remain open for those who can travel. The Pennsylvania Department of Health has issued an order requiring a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to entering the Commonwealth. Alternately, passengers can quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. PHL supports the Commonwealth’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, but airport staff will not screen passengers for test results or request quarantine attestation upon arrival.

Airport businesses remain open. Philadelphia has issued new guidance on dining and retail, so airport restaurants will offer takeout and to-go, while retail shops will limit capacity. Check phl.org/open and visit OrderatPHL.com for food delivery
