ORANJESTAD — The Aruba Photo Room at Talk of the Town will host the opening of the exhibition Iso 20 by artist Nelson Gonzalez on April 15. The opening is at 7:30 PM.

Curated by curator Fabian Gonçalves Borrega of the Art Museum of the Americas in Washington, the exhibition consists of photographs the artist has made on negative film over the past twenty years. Gonzalez documented his archives from the year 2000 until he settled in Aruba in 2003. The film material was lost and weather influences affected the analog film. The artist is now releasing the collection as an exhibition, a photo book, and as Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs). It is also the first time that the work has been published and will also be shown internationally. The project was made possible in part by the Prince Bernhard Cultuurfonds Caribbean Area.
