Long Table Aruba Returns for its Fifth Year with a Special Invitation to All

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA — The much-anticipated Long Table Aruba event, known as “The Only Meal Worth $50,000 for Aruba,” is back for its fifth year. This one-night, white-hot dinner and charity event, hosted by Wind Creek Aruba, is set to unite 1,000 people dining together along the L.G Smith’s Boulevard, covering 185 meters with 150 white tables. The event is a spectacle of unity and generosity, held on Sunday, June 11th, 2023.

Long Table Aruba and Wind Creek Aruba, along with several local partners, would like to extend their gratitude and invitation to all. Attendees will be treated to an exclusive three-course menu, including two glasses of wine, prepared by the culinary team of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort. This resort, located in the heart of Oranjestad, offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, and has become a hub of exciting activities, from gaming at its Wind Creek casino to dining at a variety of its restaurants and bars.

The purpose of the event extends beyond the sumptuous meal and the unity it fosters. All proceeds from the event will be donated to a local charity, chosen through a voting process that ends on June 4th. Participants can learn about the different organizations and their mission through videos provided, and cast their vote for their favorite. Each person is allowed one vote, and the charity with the most votes in each of the five categories will win a grand prize of $10,000. The winners will be announced at the Long Table Aruba event.

Community impact and disaster relief are key tenets of Wind Creek Aruba’s operations. Since its arrival on the island, the organization has raised funds through events like Long Table Aruba and Winter Wonderland, in addition to providing in-kind hospitality and food donations year-round to organizations in need of disaster relief.

This year, in celebration of the sixth anniversary of Wind Creek Hospitality’s acquisition of Renaissance Aruba, they will award five local charities $10,000 each. It’s a testament to the spirit of the island, and the event’s mantra of togetherness truly embodies what it means to be ‘one happy island.’

The Long Table Aruba event is scheduled to start at 6:45pm, and attendees are asked to dress in white. Live entertainment will be provided to complete the ambiance of this special night.
