Wind Creek Aruba Goes Above and Beyond for the Community in the Fifth Edition of ‘Long Table’ Aruba

Long Table Aruba, a charitable culinary event organized by Wind Creek Aruba, surpassed expectations during its fifth edition. The event featured a unique all-white dinner for 1,000 people, with prizes valued at $50,000 for Aruba. Over 40 local organizations participated in a video contest and received donations, while the public voted for their favorite video. The event celebrates Wind Creek's commitment to community involvement and support. Winners of the video contest were announced in various categories. Wind Creek Aruba has raised over $225,000 through local events and continues to support organizations in need.

ORANJESTAD – June – Long Table Aruba, a charitable culinary event presented by Wind Creek Aruba, once again exceeded all expectations during its fifth edition this past Sunday. Valued at $50,000 for Aruba, this unique dinner hosted 1,000 people at an all-white table and announced the winners for this year.

This year, over 40 local organizations representing animal care, human care services, health, humanity & art, education & youth signed up to participate in the video contest organized by the event. Each of the 5 organizations (one from each category) received $10,000 as a prize. The people of Aruba voted for their favorite video.

Wind Creek’s mission is to be present and involved in the community in which we live and operate, as stated by Mr. Paul Gielen, General Manager of Wind Creek Aruba. This event is a celebration of our purpose, and this year’s Long Table Aruba has exceeded all expectations. I couldn’t be prouder of everything we have achieved tonight and how our community came together to support our charitable causes.

During the celebration of the sixth anniversary of the acquisition of Renaissance Aruba, Wind Creek Hospitality also awarded $10,000 to the sixth organization, Brighter Future Academy Foundation, which received the highest number of votes in each category.

Since Wind Creek’s first day in Aruba in 2017, they have been providing assistance during difficult times. This is one of the pillars of Wind Creek Aruba’s operations. To date, Wind Creek Aruba has raised over $225,000 through their local events such as Long Table Aruba and Winter Wonderland, and they will continue to provide hospitality and donations to organizations in need.

Mr. Gielen explains that they are fortunate to have a team at Wind Creek Aruba dedicated to producing an exceptional event that honors our local community in Aruba. We hope to have made a positive impact on everyone who attended the event, as well as on all our sponsors who have always been open to contributing to our event for these five years.
