Palm Beach – The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino has strengthened its longstanding partnership with Aruba’s Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad (FPNC), a charitable organization providing food, clothing, and furniture to those in need.
In their latest collaboration, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino has generously donated a fleet of mountain bikes previously used by their guests for touring. After the resort replaced these bikes with new ones, they ensured the used bikes were overhauled, serviced, and delivered to FPNC for distribution among their clients. The maintenance service for the bikes was provided by Tri-Bike Aruba, and the cost of replacement parts was shared between Tri-Bike and the Hilton.
This donation follows a series of successful partnerships between the Hilton and FPNC. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Hilton donated a remarkable 3,900 manpower hours to the food bank, supporting their crucial efforts to feed the community. Additionally, when the Red Cross initiated humanitarian aid, the Hilton responded by volunteering their time and establishing the “Blue Energy Food Bank Heroes.” Hilton’s dedicated team members worked alongside FPNC, preparing care packages for families in need throughout many challenging months. Together, they also participated in the annual Meal Packaging Event known as “Connect to Impact,” where 50,000 meals were packaged and distributed to FPNC-registered families in need throughout the year.
During past holiday seasons, the Hilton displayed a Giving Tree in its lobby to encourage donations from guests, friends, and suppliers. The proceeds from this initiative, along with the seasonal decoration budget, were contributed to FPNC, replacing traditional holiday decorations with acts of charity. The team members of Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino continue to volunteer regularly at the foundation, driven by a profound sense of satisfaction and social responsibility while enjoying their time spent helping others.
FPNC, a non-profit organization, has been operating on the island since 2009, striving to alleviate poverty and meet the various needs of the less fortunate members of the community. FPNC officials express their gratitude for the Hilton team members’ unwavering support during critical moments when assistance is most needed.
