ORANJESTAD – This morning, Minister Dangui Oduber extended recognition to two local fishermen who saved the lives of two tourists. Minister Oduber expressed his gratitude to fishermen Sergio Rasmijn and Joshwin Fingal for their swift actions in rescuing tourists who encountered trouble at sea.

The fishermen explained that they arrived at the scene just in time as the boat was nearly sinking, and one of the tourists had lost consciousness. A heroic and courageous act.

A heartfelt appreciation for these two fishermen. “As Minister of Tourism, I greatly appreciate what you have done. Thank you very much!”
