This Payment Policy explains how payments are processed for hotel reservations made on ArubaTouristChannel.com (“we”, “our”, “the Platform”).
By making a booking, you agree to the terms below.


1. Payment Methods

ArubaTouristChannel.com accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Digital wallets (if available)
  • Local and international payment options supported by our secure payment processor

All payments are processed through PCI-compliant third-party providers to ensure maximum security.

We do not store full credit card information on our servers.


2. Payment Models

Depending on the hotel and supplier, one of the following payment models applies:

A. Merchant Model (Most Common)

You pay the full amount at the time of booking.
ArubaTouristChannel.com processes the payment and transfers funds securely through LiteAPI to the relevant travel supplier or hotel.

B. Agency Model (Less Common)

Payment is collected directly by the hotel at check-in.
Any pre-authorization or deposit requirements will be stated during booking.

You will always see which model applies before payment is completed.


3. Price Accuracy & Currency

A. Real-Time Rates

Prices displayed on our platform are live rates provided directly by hotels and suppliers through the LiteAPI system.

B. Currency

All payments are processed in USD unless otherwise specified.

Your bank may charge:

  • Currency conversion fees
  • International transaction fees

These charges are beyond our control.

C. Taxes & Fees

Prices generally include mandatory taxes and fees unless clearly specified.
Some hotels may charge:

  • Resort fees
  • City taxes
  • Security deposits
  • Additional cleaning fees

These are collected directly by the hotel at check-in.


4. Payment Authorization

When making a reservation:

  • Your card may be authorized to verify funds
  • The authorization may appear as a temporary hold
  • Actual charges occur upon booking confirmation

If the booking cannot be confirmed, the authorization will be reversed automatically.


5. Payment Confirmation

Once payment is successfully processed:

  • You will receive a confirmation email
  • A booking voucher will be issued
  • Your reservation is confirmed unless the supplier rejects the booking (rare)

If a supplier declines the reservation, you will receive:

  • A full refund, and
  • Alternative booking options

6. Refunds

Refunds follow the hotel’s cancellation policy, visible at the time of booking.

If your booking qualifies for a refund:

  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method only
  • Refunds typically appear within 2–10 business days
  • Refund delays can occur based on bank or card issuer processing times

ArubaTouristChannel.com does not issue refunds for:

  • No-shows
  • Non-refundable bookings
  • Last-minute cancellations outside the allowable window
  • Rejected chargebacks

7. Failed Payments

A payment may fail due to:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Card restrictions
  • Bank declines
  • Fraud protection triggers
  • Incorrect billing information

If payment fails:

  • The booking will not be confirmed
  • You may retry with a different card or method

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you dispute a charge through your bank:

  • Your booking may be canceled automatically
  • We will submit supplier documentation to your bank for verification
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension

9. Security of Payments

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

10. Errors & Incorrect Pricing

In the rare event of:

  • Incorrect price
  • Wrong room category
  • System error

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel the reservation
  • Offer an alternative at the correct price
  • Issue a full refund if you decline

Hotels and suppliers may also cancel bookings due to errors.
You will be refunded in full.
