Eagle Beach. — Associates and members of the management team of La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino came together to celebrate the end of a successful year in hospitality, and to recognize top achievers, during the Christmas party at the Renaissance Convention Center.
The gala event was carefully planned by the department of Human Resources and carried an extensive program emceed by Tessely Koolman & Jessica Franken.
Elegantly dressed associates were greeted at the door by General Manager, Joe Najjar the Executive Committee and the resort’s Department Heads, as music by Crossfire, DJ ITO, filled the room in anticipation of a fantastic evening.
The evening’s program opened with the National Anthem of Aruba and a welcome address by the Director of Human Resources, Tessely Koolman, a Christmas Message by General Manager Joe Najjar and an inspirational message from His Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Public Health, Dangui Oduber. A blessing by Assistant General Manager, Jessica Franken, concluded the formal opening sequence of the evening.
Party-goers enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner as Tsunami prepared to open the dance floor which remained busy to the wee hours.
Between dance sets, the Associates of the Year 2022, Supervisors of the Year 2022, Manager of the Year 2022 and Team of the Year 2022, were announced, acknowledged and celebrated.
The resort enjoyed a successful year, creating memorable vacations for its guests thanks to a great number of over-achieving and excelling associates.
They included, Associate of the Year, Lyrza Lansiquot, Activities; Associate of the Year, 1st runner up, Minerva Hayes, Engineering; Supervisor of the Year, Enmanuel Antonio, Engineering; Leader of the Year, Sudi Guda, Human Resources, and Team of the Year, the team of the department of Human Resources.
Both the Engineering and Human Resources departments were honored for delivering extraordinary and outstanding service during 2022.
The resort thanked its loyal collaborators for helping make 2022 a banner year, for the resort, its guests, its associates and the island. .
