The incident resulted in a rapid police response, the detention of one individual, and the opening of a police investigation into the events that occurred at the popular shopping and entertainment center.

According to the complainant, the visit to Paseo Herencia was part of a birthday celebration for one of the children involved. Guests had gathered to celebrate the occasion, and the complainant states that he had no expectation that any confrontation would occur during the event. The incident is alleged to have taken place while he was seated at Starbucks during the birthday gathering.

According to the complainant’s account, he was seated at the Starbucks location inside Paseo Herencia when the incident occurred. He states that he was unaware that Henry Bahamon and Katherine Gonzalez had arrived at the location together and were in the immediate vicinity.

The complainant alleges that while he was seated, Bahamon unexpectedly approached him from behind and struck him on the head without warning. According to the account provided, the situation escalated within seconds into a brief physical confrontation.
