ORANJESTAD, ARUBA — Visiting Aruba and wondering how to find the Autentico Aruba Culinary Festival? One of the easiest ways to orient yourself is to look for Fort Zoutman, one of downtown Oranjestad’s most recognizable historical landmarks.

The Autentico Pavilion takes place on Wilhelminastraat and surrounding streets, transforming part of Aruba’s capital into an outdoor culinary destination filled with local food, international flavors, entertainment and festival activities.

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the festival welcomes visitors for its final evening, from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM.

Start with Fort Zoutman

Fort Zoutman, with its distinctive Willem III Tower, provides a useful reference point for anyone unfamiliar with downtown Oranjestad.

Whether arriving by taxi, rental car or on foot, visitors can use the historic fort as a recognizable landmark before continuing toward the Wilhelminastraat festival area.

The streets of downtown Oranjestad are relatively compact, making the historic center convenient to explore on foot. Visitors should follow local signs and event staff instructions for the designated Pavilion entrance, particularly where temporary closures or crowd-control measures are in place.

From the historical heart of Aruba to its culinary traditions

Part of Autentico’s appeal is its setting.

Unlike an event held exclusively inside a hotel or resort, The Pavilion invites visitors into the heart of Aruba’s capital, where historic architecture, community life and the island’s culinary traditions come together.

The festival is organized through the Aruba Tourism Authority and features restaurants, beverage producers and culinary professionals presenting the diversity of Aruba’s food culture.

For tourists, the journey offers an opportunity to discover another side of the island: beyond the beaches, hotel restaurants and traditional sightseeing routes.

What visitors should know before leaving their hotel

The Pavilion requires an admission ticket. The published price is AWG 54 (US$30), including AWG 20 (US$11) in food and beverage credit, with payments at participating stands handled through an RFID wristband.

General admission tickets are currently listed as sold out, although the organizers have made a separate international ticket allocation available for visitors to Aruba. Availability should be checked before traveling to the event.

Visitors can consult the official website, Autentico Aruba Culinary Festival, for admission information and access the myAruba app for a map of food stands, menus, restrooms and other facilities.

An invitation to experience downtown Aruba

If you are spending your holiday in Aruba, consider dedicating part of your Sunday evening to discovering Oranjestad.

Ask your taxi driver for Fort Zoutman or Wilhelminastraat, follow the directions toward the festival area, and experience the atmosphere of a celebration built around the island’s people, flavors and culinary identity.

Autentico offers visitors more than dinner. It presents an opportunity to taste Aruba, meet its culinary talent and enjoy an evening surrounded by the energy of the island’s capital.

The destination is Wilhelminastraat. The landmark is Fort Zoutman. The experience is Autentico.

Event information: Sunday, October 11, 2026 · 6:00 PM–11:00 PM · Wilhelminastraat, Oranjestad.
