PALM BEACH — Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club has expanded its guest experience with the opening of Mandara Spa, a new wellness destination located on the ground level of the resort on L.G. Smith Boulevard in Palm Beach. The spa brings together international wellness standards with treatments designed around Aruba’s sun, sea, relaxation, and recovery lifestyle.
The new spa features approximately 6,500 square feet of interior space, complemented by an additional 1,140-square-foot outdoor thermal area. The facility is designed for hotel guests, Aruba residents, groups, bridal parties, and visitors seeking a complete wellness experience during their stay on the island.
According to the fact sheet, Mandara Spa at Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club includes 12 treatment rooms, among them a couples suite with a shower and soaking tub, couples’ treatment rooms, dual facial rooms, and dry massage rooms. The spa also offers a full-service salon with manicure, pedicure, hair, and washing stations. The location is led by Spa Director Muriella Perrotte.
Mandara Spa is an international wellness brand that originated in Bali in 1996. The brand is known for blending ancient Eastern healing traditions with Western techniques, offering a wellness concept centered on transformation, relaxation, and overall well-being.
Among the featured signature services is Massage De La Aruba, described as a traditional Aruban generational massage using long, gentle strokes to balance body, mind, and spirit. Other treatments include the Aloe & Milk Bath Wrap, a post-sun treatment designed to soothe and replenish sun-exposed skin; the Mandara Ultimate Facial, using BIOTEC 2.0 technologies; the Fire & Ice Hot Stone Massage; and the Coconut Poultice Massage.
A key feature of the new spa is its thermal experience. Guests can access steam and sauna facilities, a serene co-ed indoor lounge, an outdoor experiential shower, a cold plunge, an outdoor hydrotherapy pool, and outdoor loungers. Daily passes are also available.
The spa carries several well-known wellness and beauty brands, including Mandara Spa, Elemis, Kerastase, Jane Iredale, Pure Fiji, and CND Shellac. Mandara Spa is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to pre-schedule services, although walk-ins are welcome when availability allows. Reservations can be made by dialing 6750 from any hotel phone or calling 297.520.6750.
Mandara Spa also offers exclusive local rates for Aruba residents, with pricing billed in U.S. dollars to Aruban florins. The spa provides services for children and teens, including facials, parent-child massages, and salon hair and nail services. For groups and events, customizable spa packages are available for bridal parties, special occasions, corporate retreats, and pre-event wellness rituals.
With the opening of Mandara Spa, Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club strengthens its position in Aruba’s upscale wellness and hospitality market. The addition reflects a growing tourism trend in which visitors seek not only accommodation and beach experiences, but also restoration, personal care, and wellness as part of their vacation.
