Aruban Graduate Ivan Puriel Begins Successful Internship in Rotterdam Amidst Michelin-Starred Restaurants

ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, AHATA, ASD Hotel & Restaurant Equipment & Supplies, and Colegio EPI extend their best wishes to Ivan Puriel, a graduate of Colegio EPI, as he embarks on his international internship at a prestigious two Michelin-starred restaurant owned by Chef François Geurds in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

On Thursday, January 11th, graduate Ivan Puriel set off to make one of his dreams come true. He emphasized that opportunities like these arise from dedication, self-belief, and also thanks to companies that want to propel Aruba forward.

We are exceptionally proud of Ivan and are confident that he will achieve great things in the future. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino and their Complex General Manager, Raoul Lemmerling, for sponsoring Ivan’s accommodation.

We also want to thank AHATA and their president, Tisa LaSorte, for covering the flight and other expenses. Last but not least, we are grateful to ASD Hotel & Restaurant Equipment & Supplies for funding Ivan’s chef uniform. On behalf of Colegio EPI, we are delighted with our International Affairs working group, which has contributed to coordinating this project.

This is certainly a promising start for the culinary sector, and we hope for more significant projects in the future, making Aruba even more appealing for opportunities in this field. The island can look forward to further developments in this area.
